The Stanley “Jay” Kurta Charitable Trust honors the memory of Jay Kurta, a cherished friend and exceptional long-time member of our club. Known for his generosity and kindness, Jay made a lasting impact on those around him, and we strive to keep his spirit alive in our community.

Established to support the next generation, the Trust awards a scholarship each year to a college-bound relative of a club member. This initiative reflects Jay’s commitment to education and his belief in the potential of young individuals.

Jay, who had a distinguished career as a banker and FDIC investigator, passed away in January 2008 at the age of 51. Through this trust, we celebrate his legacy and continue to inspire future leaders in our community.

We wish to thank you for your interest in applying for this scholarship. Our good friend, Stanley ‘Jay’ Kurta, is the reason this scholarship fund was created almost 20 years ago. Jay was an exceptional person, generous, well-educated and a very good friend to all that knew him. Jay was a long-standing member of The Club National in Nashua, New Hampshire.

The Stanley Jay Kurta Charitable Trust was created to honor and preserve Jay’s memory, in addition to honoring all our members, no longer with us.
